Eldridge Hall was a castle built on lies. Last year I had the absolute pleasure of reading The Poison Season! First off, thank you to Inkyard Press and Mara for a copy of this arc!

This was a solid YA gothic horror book. It definitely feels comparative to something like Rory Powers or Erin Craig.

If you like modern gothic mysteries, you’ll like this book. It was not at all what I was expecting — I don’t know exactly what it was, but in some ways it reminded me a bit of Supernatural and Black Butler.
