Ithaca
Greek myth from the POV of women is something I adore, but sometimes it gets bogged down in a sort of way that doesn’t always work, but Claire North does something different
Her Radiant Curse
This acts as a sort of “prequel” to Six Crimson Cranes, as it is the stepmother’s story in this one. I thought that it was nice to get a backstory to someone we thought was a “villain” at first
A Multitude of Dreams
Eldridge Hall was a castle built on lies.
Last year I had the absolute pleasure of reading The Poison Season! First off, thank you to Inkyard Press and Mara for a copy of this arc!
Together We Rot
This was a solid YA gothic horror book. It definitely feels comparative to something like Rory Powers or Erin Craig.
Strange Unearthly Things
If you like modern gothic mysteries, you’ll like this book. It was not at all what I was expecting — I don’t know exactly what it was, but in some ways it reminded me a bit of Supernatural and Black Butler.
