I was very excited to dive back into this world, and while I thought the last book had been wrapped up nicely, it was still enjoyable to get another adventure.
I have found a new love – this book. What an amazingly well written book! This is dark, dark fantasy and with witches – two things I adore.
Wow! I was BLOWN AWAY by this book. I think part of why I loved it so much is it touched on both themes and ideas we see in ancient mythology - specifically Greek and Viking, which have some of my favorite women warriors.
The concept of this book sounded amazing -- and I very much enjoyed the book overall.
Things I loved: sapphic, dragons, dragons, good side characters. An epic YA queer fantasy,
Be still my beating heart. Be still. I can still feel it thrumming in my chest as I write this review. The Bone Shard War is one of those epic series conclusions, and I think I was dribbling water from my eyes by the end.
