Second batch of A’s in for grad school, although I did have a minor meltdown over this week’s assignment. Ah, well. I did get it done. Moving onto more interesting things! I got zero of the posts I needed to write, written this week. I’ve been exhausted.

I would’ve had a book this week…IF I HADN’T ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT A SECOND COPY OF A POISON DARK AND DROWNING. I am still furious with myself!!!

I feel a need to immediately go buy another book to make up for the lack of this one. But I’ll restrain myself.

Last week’s in progress were not read in the order I set out. I apparently skipped around. Anyways, I finished Warrior of the Wild, Eight Will Fall, Chaos of Stars and A Poison Dark and Drowning.

I’m rereading the Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue. After that I plan on tackling:
-Infinity Son
-Alex & Eliza
-A Study in Charlotte
-Onyx & Ivory
-The Light Between Worlds

How do y’all like my new header? Also, when I hit 500 followers on my IG I’m planning to do some type of giveaway! When I hit 100 on here, I’ll do something on here as well! 🙂

I started a new medication and it made me very ill, so I haven’t had a lot of spoons or energy this week. It has been a tough go of it. It’s raining today, and I need to start going back to the gym, but the idea of driving there, working out and driving home is SO unappealing to me on all levels. I hate going to the gym. I’d rather be home, taking photos, working on my instagram or my blog!

Grad school is already stressful, and I know my blogging with certainly reduce with it right this minute! So…sorry!

This is up so late because I was very tired today. I don’t really have much else to say — I’m just exhausted.

Update Schedule

What I Like About Me — Book Review
Date: January 2nd 2020

I got two more books from my used bookstore last week — so I’m pretty pleased.

I’m seriously lagging in my reading. But I did read “The Vine Witch”. I had to put Winterwood later of my list to finish my library books first.

Have a great week!

Definitely not too much going on right now, just Christmas related things. I honestly have nothing much to put here other than I’ve gotten obsessed with playing Assassins Creed: Odyssey. I really want to finish it!

When I will get to these, I don’t know!

Bought Books

The Song of Achilles is UK paperback edition! I found it in my local used bookstore, and so I was really happy about that! Six of Crows is a hardback I got there too! Couldn’t resist!

What am I reading? I’m probably going to start on the ARC “What I Like About Me” next! And Winterwood. Hopefully.

I wish you all Happy Holidays! Enjoy your time with your family & friends!

My birthday was on the 10th, and it was good! My coworkers got me a cake and another got me cupcakes. My grandmother gave me oreos and my parents baked me a brownie. I think I exploded from sugar overload this week!

But, I ran out of spoons. By about Thursday I was exhausted, but I had to go Christmas shopping on Friday. It was successful. Saturday I started feeling like I had a cold, and it still feels that way today. Yuck!

Today is going to be a day for relaxing, and I’m going to wrap presents and take bookstagram photos, queue up some posts and the like.

It’s December 1st! My birthday is on the 10th, and I am so excited! Not for getting older, but just because I get to have a fun dinner with my family (hopefully). But it also means it is holiday season! I’m a generally really cheerful person, and my mother and I both adore decorating, so we love decorating in the winter. It is a lot of fun. Especially when we get our tree.

On the other hand my Crohn’s Disease is in a minor flare up and I’ve been fighting that the past few days, and it stinks because I am so uncomfortable. At least I have today to rest up before I go back to work.

Life has been good otherwise!
