New Branding/Theme

New Theme

I know, I know, I keep switching what my theme looks like — but I can’t help it. I’m trying to find the perfect fit, and I think I finally can.

Last year I commissioned a piece from Minnoux. All I knew is I loved their art, and I desperately wanted something from them! Anyways, I had a very vivid picture of what I wanted — a cat and a girl who was not totally human and a bit like a goddess of the hunt.

At the time I wasn’t running a book blog, but I’ve always loved lore, and yesterday I realized that I had the perfect branding for my header image — the one I had commissioned.

It fits with me, and my theme so perfectly.

New Branding

To go along with this theme, this will be my branding going forth! I’m just going to use it here on my site — personally. I’m very happy with this — and the decision.

If you see any problems or errors that crop up, please give me a heads up!

Oooooo, I love that new header! Also it’s totally okay to change your theme because it happens all the time… better to figure out what you want and what you feel fits your blog than smacking something on there and hating it forever. (I do think it’s a little too big? It’s probably because my screen appears smaller thanks to a program that I use. But I love it!)

Yeah, I think it’s because of how when the window size adjusts. When it gets to a certain point it blurs. It condenses it. But on my 12″ screen it actually looks tiny! I wonder if I can find a way to reduce the image size & keep the quality when the screen shrinks…
