Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews

In personal news, I am so excited for the holiday season! It is one of my favorite times of years. Work is still going well, but other than that I don’t have too much to add! Life has been pretty quiet this week all in all.

Only Mostly Devastated — Book Review

Date: November 20th 2019

Only one review this week, but I’ve been writing a whole bunch more and getting ready to post them! So while I didn’t post a ton this week, I was working on things to post at a later date.

My laziness knows no bounds. I stuck both my hauls in one picture because they were tiny this week. I finally got my hands on Priory (which I LOVED and now I own it) and QoN (which was also good!).

And two more to read! (Plus the eight other books on my shelf I still have to read. Progress.)

I already mentioned I was working on more reviews, and I’m working on my instagram. I’m going to be (hopefully) making some booksleeves today! Hurrah!

I hope you all have a lovely week, and if you’re celebrating Thanksgiving coming up, have a safe and lovely holiday!

  1. Some weeks are good for reading and some weeks are slow. It seems like I have a slow week and feel discouraged, but then the next week is amazing.

I’m excited about the holiday season, too.

    Have a lovely week.

    1. Thank you! I do enjoy the holiday season — and doesn’t it always go like that? Only read one book that week then read two the next!

    1. In my case, I write my reviews (or at least ideas) down as soon as I finish reading the book. If I can. If I’m at work I jot down my thoughts. Then I set aside an hour or two a few times a week to catch up on backlogged books I haven’t reviewed. If it has been too long, I’ll either put them in the pile of “reread at some point to review” or they will go directly to my unreviewed pile in which they will never be reviewed. I’ve got quite a few reviews already written, so I just try and post a few times a week so it isn’t overwhelming.

  2. Glad that all is going well and that it’s a happy season for you !
I sadly couldn’t care less about holidays.. you see, we don’t have anything special going on (usually) and my dad is not one to like the holidays, so he’s more tend to be grumpy and all :l I’m mostly just sad over the fact that well .. we don’t have none of that stuff the other families has, you feel me?

Goodluck for all your reviews in progress, and have a good week too xx
