First off, I have been eagerly awaiting to see how this book series was going to end and how it was going to tie back into the original myth because Claire does such a fantastic job of both sticking to the original myth but also adding her own twists and flair to the woman’s stories.
Hearts That Cut
It’s been five weeks since Io left Alante to follow the golden thread, and she’s no closer to finding the god on the other end. She spends her days in constant, grueling travel and her nights worrying over the fate-thread she shares with Edei—which seems to be fraying. Making matters worse, she and Bianca soon realize that their only lead has shaken them off, snapped the golden thread, and disappeared.
Running Close To the Wind
Avra Helvaçi, former field agent of the Arasti Ministry of Intelligence, has accidentally stolen the single most expensive secret in the world―and the only place to flee with a secret that big is the open sea.
The Hemlock Queen
The corrupt king August is dead. Prince Bastian has seized the throne and raised Lore—a necromancer and former smuggler—to his right hand side. Together they plan to cut out the rot from the heart of the sainted court and help the people of Dellaire.
The Fireborne Blade
This book read almost like a folklore book intermixed with a historical account. It’s a bit hard to explain.
When Among Crows
Wow!! Okay, I had to say that first because this book was like a gut punch. This is grim dark urban fantasy set in our world featuring Slavic supernatural creatures.
