I have found a new love – this book. What an amazingly well written book! This is dark, dark fantasy and with witches – two things I adore.

I’ve pretty much loved all of Saft’s works, and this one is just as excellent as the others. While Down Comes the Night remains my favorite, this one is probably my second.

I love Egypt. I love archaeology. I love mysteries. I don’t love cliffhangers, and this book has one. ARGH.

I really liked the first two books in this series, but The Beautiful still remains my favorite. I definitely enjoyed Pippa’s book, and I was hoping to enjoy this one.

This book was excellently creepy and well written. It sent shivers down my spine. You know those “Stories to Tell in the Dark”?

I started out not sure about this book, then I got more into and liked it, and then I wasn’t into it again. I waffled over whether I was enjoying the book or not. I’m not exactly sure why I didn’t love the book, l definitely liked it, but I wasn’t as into it as I was hoping to be.
