I have to write this review now, even though I don’t have all my thoughts in place, mostly because my head is STILL spinning. I can’t believe it! This review may ramble a bit, so feel free to skim if you start to zone out. Let me start by saying I REGRET not getting the OwlCrate version of this. I wish I had, but at the time I was also getting Fairyloot, and I made a choice. Anyways, besides that, the cover is gorgeous no matter what color it is, and so is the interior. That’s because this book was one of the most amazing reads. (Partially because I love mermaids and magic!)
All The Stars and Teeth Read Post »
I got really tired of retellings, especially fantasy ones several months ago, and so I hesitated to read this one at the time. I am SO GLAD that I waited. Because I feel that I really wouldn’t have enjoyed this book if I had read it when I first wanted to. (Okay, February, but still.) I enjoyed this book, and I felt that it was a read I had fun with, and one that I liked. This is a 3.5 stars for me.

So, I enjoyed the first book. I love seeing different takes on mythology, and this one was definitely interesting! I hadn’t seen it done that way before, and I was intrigued. Of course, I picked up the sequel (this one) before I’d read the first, so I had to read that first. This is the sequel to A Touch of Gold and I think it is a good sequel.
This had witches and it had lesbians. It also had good female friendships. These are all things that I love in books. There was a ton of queer rep, even if just briefly mentioned, in this book. Unfortunately, it didn’t all come together for me in a way that made me love the book.
I’m always looking for a funny, feel good romance that is queer. I so very much wanted to love this book, but I only ended up liking it.
I Think I Love You Read Post »
First off, the cover was adorable and the title was amazing. That convinced me to request the book, and then the description…it seemed like it would be the perfect book for me.
I hemmed and hawed about what I was going to rate this book, because I wasn’t sure at all what I thought it should be, but in the end I settled on three stars.
