As you may or may not know I had (have) conflicted feelings over Serpent & Dove. The first time I read it, I wasn’t wild about it. The second I really liked it! This is my review for the book. Before I started Blood & Honey I did review S&D.

I will admit, I loved the book cover from the moment I saw it. I am also obsessed with celestial things – so yeah. I am shallow, but all I knew was I wanted to read this book. I got the Owlcrate box, and the cover change was to my favorite color: purple. I was immensely pleased.

First off, I have heard nothing but good things about this book. And I was really excited to read it despite not loving The Beautiful Ones. I loved the writing in that book, and I felt that this book would give me everything I could want. Suffice to say, this book should be on everyone’s lists who likes scary stories, gothic horror, or just a good paranormal mystery.

First off there were a whole bunch of things I loved about this book. We get Yadriel who is an amazing character. He has such a sweetness to him that I adore and you really want all the best for him. Julian too is a great character.
