The concept of this book sounded amazing — and I very much enjoyed the book overall.

PLEASE tell me there is going to be a sequel. Because that last line — and that epilogue were EVERYTHING.

Wow. Just. Wow. In case you’re wondering this is a sapphic dark academia mystery/thriller gothic vibes book and it is GOOD.

I’ve had my eye on this one for a while, and I hadn’t gotten around to reading it yet, so I was delighted when Orbit sent me a copy. Not only is the cover fantastic, the story inside is as well!

It has been a hot minute since I’ve found a lost princess book that I well and truly loved, but The Jasad Heir hits all the right notes for me. Sylvia is now probably one of my favorite characters. She’s feisty, but she is also reserved.

What can I say but “AHHHH!!!” This book was so unbelievably adorable. I mean it was CUTE and it was hilarious and witty. One aspect I really liked was the narrator, I loved the little bit of fourth wall breaking and the asides.
